TransduTIS is an identification tool for translation initiation site (TIS) in mRNAs of the organisms: Rattus norvegicus, Mus musculus, Homo sapiens, Drosophila melanogaster and Arabidopsis thaliana. TransduTIS is based on Inductive and Transductive Support Vector Machines (SVM) with Radial Basis Function (RBF) kernel. The SVM and kernel parameters and most detailed descriptions of TransduTIS, please see "Transductive learning as an alternative to translation initiation site identification" (Article submitted for evaluation to BMC Bioinformatics in 2016).
The FASTA file must have only one molecule of the selected organisms and has at least 9 nucleotides in the upstream region and 1081 nucleotides in the downstream region for each AUG of the molecule.
